Another frame bag done and delivered. Purple per request and it looks mighty fine. 1000d Cordura side panels, but otherwise the same features as they last couple bags... Aka: fully loaded.

Ditch the backpack. Get yourself a frame bag. You'll be glad you did.

At Almanzo, I struggled through the last few miles, frequently leapfrogging Ken, but sadly not even realizing it was the guy i've been known to have a beer with on occasion. Given the exhausted state we were both in had I even realized it was him, the conversation would have been unintelligible anyways.
Ken was on a single speed All-City, and was carrying a rather large backpack; something like a Camelbak Mule. Meaning: big and heavy.
Long story short, he put in an order for a bag and I was happy to oblige.
Features
- big main pocket on drive side
- full length map pocket on non drive with red divider between pockets
- YKk #8 water resistant zippers on both pockes.
- 1050 ballistic nylon around the perimeter
- xpac side panels
- padded down tube and seat tube
- elastic pump holder inside main pocket along top tube
- hydration tube port
- reflective tape accents on both side panels
I must say I wish this one were staying with me.

Finished up another half bag tonight for me. First ride will be Almanzo. Not the best idea to run new gear on race day, but I trust it will work no problem.
All the goodies:
-Xpac side panels
-super burly cordura around the perimeter
-tube port
-water resistant zippers
-main pocket on drive side
-full length map pocket on non drive side
And for the first time, the down tube section is padded with closed cell foam.

Under 48 hours till the start of Almanzo. Good luck to all.... And OTBB is going to be well represented.

Note that Tom, assuming he uses it, will be rocking a bag from Grimace (my bike) and given Tom is ginormous the bag won't fit like a glove.
Over the part few months I've made a number of bags and they have been turning out really well. Everyone has been really happy with their bags, and that makes me happy. Materials used are better, fit and finish are really good, and many, many miles have been put on the bags with no issues.
Here are some photos.
